I have just returned from a trip to Copenhagen, Denmark, and though the city fascinated me in every possible way, I have to confess that something really “weird” happened as I was on my way to the airport: I was excited to get on my cheap Ryanair flight and go back to the cloudy, rainy, and green place I have called home for a year.
I moved to Dublin, Ireland a year ago as an international student, and I have to say that, despite all the challenges and problems people face here, life in the Emerald Isle is indeed unique and special.
But why? What are the little things of Dublin that bring me so much joy and made me so excited to be back?
