What to Do on our Last Day in Dublin?

On our last day in Dublin, we woke up to glorious sunny, clear blue skies so we girls decided to make the trek out to the Zoo via the hop on-hop off bus. The boys were going to check out Croke Park, the huge Gaelic football stadium.

We thought we’d see the zoo in the morning then head on out to the Dublin Eye in the afternoon. The zoo was so big we didn’t get back into town until well in to the afternoon so decided to go to the Queen of Tarts for a late lunch. It was packed; obviously very popular with locals and for good reason — the savoury tarts were delicious and so filling we couldn’t even get to the dessert ones . They looked so tempting, we decided to come back for afternoon tea. We didn’t make it. Nor did we make it out to the Eye. The pubs are just too unmissable.
