My Experiences with Upanishads

<p>I went through various major Upanishads and my intent is to summarize the essence here. Irrespective of whether we agree or disagree, I think the Upanishads concentrate on the nonduality of Atman and Brahman, where Atman is the self and Brahman is the cosmic universe. They are the most recent part of the Vedas, the oldest scriptures of Hinduism, and deal with meditation, philosophy, consciousness, atman(self), brahman (cosmic universe), and ontological knowledge. They are also called Vedanta, meaning the last chapters of Vedas. Each of them is connected to some Vedas.
