Sensory experience: coming in

<p>This morning I conducted my first sensory ethnography &lsquo;observation&rsquo; in the Courtyard Entrance of the Fitzwilliam Museum. I chose this for my first experience, as it&rsquo;s one of two entrances to the Museum and therefore a key&nbsp;<strong>transitional</strong>&nbsp;space.</p> <p>I started the experience with anticipation and excitement &mdash; after an hour of observing, listening and capturing, I was exhausted! It was really overwhelming and I found myself spending another hour afterwards reflecting, relaxing and gathering my thoughts.</p> <p>Here are some reflections&hellip; firstly, as with my test-run, I recorded a video capture of arriving in the space.
