Texas Blues in a Barcelona Park
<p>Last night I experienced another Barcelona music treat when I saw Hash Brown and the Blues All Stars play at the L’Hospitalet de Llobregat Festes de Primavera (spring festival). The all-age (but mostly older) crowd of people (and some dogs) bopped along to some authentic blues in a pretty little park.</p>
<p>L’Hospitalet de Llobregat is a municipality just outside Barelona. It takes me about 30 minutes to get there by metro. Many of the people who live there are Latino or from other parts of Spain, so more Spanish than Catalan is spoken. Not many expats and tourists visit Hospitalet which makes the neighbourhood cheaper than Barcelona. The centre has a nice rambla with excellent bars serving top-quality food.</p>
