261. The First Recording Session in a Year

It is 11th of October. And it is about the right time to write about the first recording session in a year. Let’s go!

As I mentioned some time ago, I started uploading my Guitar Improvisation Experiment videos (that’s what I call it, while, in fact, it’s just a smart excuse to play video games). While I uploaded videos I recorded almost two years ago (2021, baby), I was thinking of recording something new. Go with the flow. Try again, you know.

Well, I did. I looked through the game footage I had. It was Doom 1993 (the final level of episode 3 and three first missions from episode 4). I created fast and lazy backing tracks for every footage. Used even the same system I invented when I did this with religious dedication — the first track in Am, the second in Em, the third in Fm, the fourth in Am. Basically, that’s the way I’m creating tracks Am-Em-Fm, nothing complicated or over the top. Maybe I’ll return to the system I did back when I only started — 12 keys one after another — but before doing so, I have to get a grasp on whatever I have here.
