What are the daily responsibilities of a UX designer?
The daily responsibilities of a designer can vary depending on the organization, project and the designer’s level of experience. However, there are some common tasks we typically undertake on a regular basis.
In the early stages of a project, UX designers collaborate closely with Product Management to gain a comprehensive understanding of the requirements and define the user journey.
Next, they generate conceptual sketches or develop high-fidelity designs as necessary. By conducting design reviews and receiving critiques from both the design team and cross-functional groups, designers refine their concepts before presenting them to customers for feedback and testing, thereby validating their assumptions. This iterative process continues until all stakeholders agree on the proposed designs, ensuring the delivery of an optimal user experience.
Additionally, UX designers provide ongoing support to Engineers and Quality Assurance professionals until the feature is fully implemented and released.
