Three Months In Mexico?
<p>In one month, I leave for a three-month trip throughout Mexico. If someone had told me two years ago that I would be traveling to Mexico for three months, I wouldn't have believed them and insisted that I would be going to France or Italy instead. For some reason, I was always skeptical of traveling to Mexico, a country only about 137 miles from my hometown of Los Angeles, California. It wasn't because I thought it was dangerous but rather that I would have gone to Paris or Rome, two cities where I couldn't even speak the common language.</p>
<p>I made my first trip to the country at eight, visiting areas like Cabo San Lucas and Puerto Vallarta. I barely remember anything but found myself back in the country for a six-day trip in 2021, this time solo in Mexico City. The trip was life-changing, and I made my second trip back shortly after 2022 began, this time with my Dad, who hadn't been to Mexico City since the 1970s. Even though I got sick for a few days, I still had a fantastic time eating the excellent food and passing the time in my favorite park, Chapultepec.</p>
