If An Advanced Civilization Existed Millions Of Years Ago, Would We Be Able To Find Traces Of It?
<p>This wouldn’t be anything out of the ordinary, if it weren’t for the fact that the two scientists are reptilian, and the bones are <em>human</em>.</p>
<p>Later in the show, the two scientists come across the crew of <em>Voyager</em> and get in contact with them. After a DNA analysis, their hypothesis is confirmed. Humans, and their species, the Voth, are related.</p>
<p>It turns out the Voth are descendants of dinosaurs who had somehow evolved to be intelligent. Millions of years ago, they had built an advanced civilization on Earth, and then left the planet for space.</p>
<p>Two similar races of intelligent dinosaurs, the Silurians and the Sea Devils, appear on <em>Doctor Who</em>. Like the Voth, the Silurians and the Sea Devils are sophisticated and technologically advanced. Yet 20th century humans are unaware of their existence.</p>
