The haunting “Type IV Civilization”: Do you believe in it?
<p>Let’s talk today about technology, about worlds beyond ours, and touch a bit on utopia, science fiction, but also a possible reality that invites us to reflect more than once. Do you believe in <strong>more advanced civilizations than ours</strong>? In a way, denying the existence of other planets and other populations different from ours is naive and reductionist, taking into account the immensity of this universe and those that, in turn, surround us.</p>
<p>Have you ever wondered at what technological level our world operates? Do you think we are little or very advanced? In 1964, the Russian astrophysicist <strong>Nikolai Kardashev</strong> established an interesting classification that is still used in some fields and that sought, above all, to try to measure the level of the technological evolution of a specific civilization and, in turn, the possibilities of colonization that a population could have according to those resources.</p>
