Planning a two-day trip to LA ( not disney)

We spent the first day working off from a cafe in Venice Beach (we work in EST so we were done pretty early to enjoy the day). After work, we grabbed pasta at Venice Beach and walked around taking in the sun and views of the skater park, muscle beach, volleyball courts, and some free games.

The broad walk was magnificent and called out to us, so we rented an electric bike from Metro Bikes and biked to the Santa Monica Pier. ( I would highly recommend renting a metro bike over renting from a store as it was $5 for a day pass or $2.50 for 30 mins). You could spend a day here without getting bored.

Things to do on the beach: ocean watching, running, sunbathing, reading, surfing lessons, free volleyball, workout at Muscle Beach, biking.
