How Much Do You Know About the Big Cats in the Wild?

The animal kingdom is home to many “big cats” across the world. These cats include lions, tigers, leopards, jaguars, snow leopards, cougars, and cheetahs. Many other smaller cats are also in the wild, such as bobcats, ocelots, and lynxes, but we will save those for another day.

I made a short write-up that explains the unique features of these cats. I also created a bonus quiz at the end if you are interested in taking one.

Lions

Lions live in prides and are unique among big cats for their highly social nature. These prides consist of many females and include one or more males. Lions are predominantly found in Africa, but a small population can be found in India’s Gir Forest. Most lions primarily hunt large prey, such as zebras and wildebeests.
