Why Being Autistic Means I Struggle With Change
<p>Next week we are having some work done on our kitchen. It is very much needed and will bring huge benefits. But it means that I am currently having to relocate the entire contents of the kitchen cupboards to elsewhere in the house. It is chaos, and I am finding it exhausting.</p>
<p>I know that building work in the home is not easy for anyone. But being autistic seems to make change particularly difficult for me, even when there is a clear goal and benefits will arise as a result.</p>
