I should probably start off by saying that I am probably going to be a lot younger than some of the people who grew up with these game systems. As of writing this, I’m currently in my early 20s and I have been collecting Nintendo Entertainment System (NES), Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES), and Sega Genesis games for almost a decade now.
But why are you so fascinated with retro gaming, aren’t you a little young to be playing these games I hear you say? Well let’s start from the beginning…
