It has come to my attention in recent times that the travelers that wind up in the central region of Mexico (Guanajuato) are often either the free-spirited backpackers or the tourist elite who have a great deal of experience traveling to unusual and exotic locations.
The backpackers appear to be a very adaptive bunch that can, more or less, remain practically anywhere under most situations and more easily go with the flow, no matter what the flow throws their way.
And, I would like to add, there’s nothing wrong with being loosey-goosey.
