The Absolute Crisis of Loneliness

When you find yourself in a moment of true crisis and can’t find a single person to give you a hug and tell you that everything’s going to be okay, that’s a serious problem. It’s not a problem with you, even though you probably feel like it is.

I understand how absolutely unworthy and unloved it makes you feel to realize that you just need a single person to care about you and to have absolutely nobody willing to fill that role.

This isn’t a “just me” problem; it applies to literally almost everyone in society. We have to do something about it. I’m just not sure what.
