I’d started working in a restaurant as the university was shut for summer vacation. Akka, as we all called her, owns Edinburgh’s most famous South Indian restaurant which goes by the name of Tanjore.
I was excited to help around the restaurant during August. The only question I asked Akka — just out of curiosity, how busy will it be?
