Vegetarianism or Meat-Craving Could Be Genetic

Scientists agree: Sleeping seven to eight hours a night, going regularly to the gym, and eating a vegetarian diet are all good health choices. Despite some TikTok claims of healthy “carnivore diets,” we all ought to be eating less meat and doing some squats instead of standing around near a grill.

And yet, many fellow Americans still over-indulge in meat. Some even buy into flawed and scientifically inaccurate arguments that plants are somehow poisonous to us, and should only be eaten after being filtered through a cow. I know that a vegetarian diet is healthier, but I still sometimes give in to the call of a burger joint.
