The Dutch Aesthetic

<p>Some of the smartest cities in the world happens to be New York City, San Francisco, Paris, and most importantly one that I have the incredible opportunity to study abroad in, Amsterdam. Earlier in 2016, Amsterdam was awarded with &ldquo;Europe&rsquo;s Capital of Innovation Award&rdquo; based off of quick and reliable urban planning, governance and citizen participation, and also utilizing renewable energy. The aesthetics of a city can range from physical and natural qualities. As I started my travels through the Netherlands in Amsterdam there were several things that had caught my attention from the architecture that I was surrounded by. On our first day we arrived at Generator Hostel that is located in Oosterpark.
