The Great Society: Empowering African Americans towards Equality

<p>The first GOP Republican debate showcased the prospective Presidential candidates for 2024 General election. As expected, the first debate not attended by leading GOP candidate Donald Trump talked about him and provided little in substantial policy other than the proverbial President Biden bad for America, but 4 times criminally indicted Trump solves America&rsquo;s issues. They aim to defend the declining power of a white power base and eliminate any hope for minorities by removing all social safety nets. They forget black families have survived slavery, civil war, reconstruction, the &rdquo; Great Depression&rdquo;, Jim Crow laws, segregation, police brutality, mass incarceration&rdquo;, and the drug epidemic.&nbsp;<strong>Black Lives may not matter (to the majority)</strong>;&nbsp;<em>however, black families endure and persevere and so do minorities and immigrants.</em></p> <p><a href="https://medium.com/the-polis/the-great-society-empowering-african-americans-towards-equality-c7c4a9c8a306"><strong>Website</strong></a></p>
