<h2>Climate crisis</h2>
<p><strong>Matt Kean</strong>: In 2016, NSW was one of the first jurisdictions in the world to commit to net zero emissions by 2050 just as the Paris Agreement was coming into force.</p>
<p>Since then, we’ve set targets of 50% emissions reduction by 2030 and 70% by 2035 and detailed modelling confirms we’re on track to meet those.</p>
