Social Forces that Explains Voters’ Behaviors in Indonesia’s Presidential Election Euphoria

<p>As a human who lives in a society, our choices and views of the world are affected by external things. These things can come in two forms: the physical environment that we understand by analyzing it directly or using it as evidence to support our future choices and the beliefs based on social norms or derived from cultural adaptation toward the environment. Social force, or in a more harsh term called social pressure, is the exertion of influence on a person or group by another person or group. Even though there are many benefits from social force, such as motivation to behave well toward others and as constraints to bad manners toward the environment (e.g., Dayak Gerunggang cultural restriction to not to cut off trees with specific conditions), we try to focus more on the issue where it can impact people&rsquo;s political view and choices.
