A Sedentary Person Goes Hiking: What Could Go Wrong?

<p>That person is me.</p> <p>I have a sedentary lifestyle at the age of 28. My back constantly aches, my knees feel numb, and my vision blurs while staring at the screen.</p> <p>I am an architect, but is not as fun and healthy as I imagined. I find myself confined to my office chair from 9 AM to 7 PM. It is no secret that humans are not designed to sit on a chair most of their waking hours. And I think is sad that my life became that way.</p> <p>But recently, I had a wake-up call.</p> <p>I decided to challenge myself and joined a hiking group for an arduous 8-hour walk on a mountain.
