A Rich Tapestry Of Privilege

There’s some good-natured trash talk and varying levels of steely-eyed determination. A few toes stray over the start line in search of an advantage.</p>
<p>But there’s a twist. A teacher explains that their starting point will be determined by their privilege.</p>

<p>There are some groans of protest but nobody seems too worried. The kids who get to advance enjoy their good fortune. The kids left behind eagerly await the next question. They haven’t noticed the pattern yet.</p>
