Racism Hurts my Soul
<p>Here’s my anti-racist rant as a white male person. First of all, we are people, regardless of our skin color. We are just people and we are all messed up in one way or another. Our differences are trivial. If you have some deep suspicion of other races, you need to root it out. I’m not saying its an <em>individual</em> problem, it’s the twisted system we came up in. It’s like, you can’t eat a healthier diet if you don’t understand what kind of food is causing your heart disease or high blood pressure. And the stores are chock full of those bad foods. You’ve got to break it down, and understand the source. The source of racism is right in our faces. And that’s the problem. It’s everywhere.</p>
<p>When I see how badly black and brown people are being treated, it makes me heartbroken. It makes me feel helpless, and like I must be some kind of outcast mutation, and everyone else in the country is “all for it.” How come I’m different? Actually, </p>
