Systemic Racism — How to be racist by accident
<p>Systemic racism is a big topic, and one I believe most progressives have heard of before. I’m not the first, tenth, or hundredth to explain systemic racism. Which is why it’s baffling that I meet so many people who say “I can’t be racist — I didn’t mean to!”</p>

A week ago, I published <a href="https://medium.com/@viridiangrail/interstellar-the-white-supremacist-who-runs-the-sonic-kin-community-85ba98cd223d" rel="noopener">an article</a> about these two, their large network of discord servers, and their rule against speaking Australian languages on an Australia-themed discord server. Today I was informed by a member of My own discord server that these two have seen the article, and they have a defence against it: “I didn’t mean it.” Since My previous article operated on a level of political literacy beyond most racists, let’s revisit the topic at the fundamentals.</p>
