Permanent Damage (Joesef, 2023)

<p>It&rsquo;s a good week to be Glasweigan, with national treasure Joesef finally releasing his much anticipated debut album&nbsp;<em>Permanent Damage.&nbsp;</em>Accompanied by the short film of the same name, directed by Luis Hindman, Joesef tells a story from beginning to end, leaving no stone unturned. As a full body of work, the album draws the listener in, desperate to know more about the characters and the events which have unfolded.</p> <p>The album opens with the title track which is rich in sound, with lush arco strings, creating a cinematic atmosphere. The album follows the universal pain of falling in and out of love, and experiencing the loneliness that often surrounds love in all its forms.
