How Patriarchies form and why they are so terrified of trans people

Let’s say we have two tribes, the river tribe and the hill tribe. In the river tribe, people mostly value their happiness and wellbeing, they don’t hunt more food than they need and don’t put themselves into dangerous or distressing situations unless they have to.

In the hill tribe, however, there’s little to no time for rest, everyone works to produce as much as they possibly can to support as many children as they can have, regularly they are willing to put themselves into dangerous situations if the payout is large enough, including violent conflict with other tribes.

Being in the river tribe sounds like a great life, but it’s also easy to see that if these two tribes come into conflict the river tribe will be utterly destroyed. Their members are less willing to risk themselves in war, their numbers are smaller and they have fewer resources.
