<p>At first, darkness (or dark matter) filled this universe. A Little Energy Egg (like the Big Bang Theory) came out of nowhere, which grew and filled this creation with Divine Light. From that Light emerged Goddess Kūṣmāṇḍa, and with her as The Mother formed this entire creation.</p>
<p>The Nava Durga belongs to Sanatana Dharma’s Shakta tradition, where Devi is the Supreme Source / Divine Energy of creation, as narrated in the tale of Kūṣmāṇḍa.</p>
