What it’s like to be a French Literature student
<p>My name is Ayi and I am a French Literature student at Universitas Brawijaya batch 2020. I would like to share my experience studying French literature and what I do in my daily life.</p>
<p><strong><em>In general, what is the French Literature major like?</em></strong></p>
<p>Basically, we learn the French language but not only the language, we learn the culture and history. Also, we learn French linguistics, since it’s not French Literature but French <strong><em>Language</em></strong> and Literature. In the fifth semester, our major will be divided into 2 sub-majors, literature and linguistics. Basically, the literature you will study French literature and its history, figure, and literary genre. While linguistics you will learn how words, sentences, letters, and sounds are formed.</p>
