Le Tigre was this weekend. It was AMAZING. Kathleen Hanna is a goddess.

Everyone was there; it was the social event of the year. Holly and Jean, Dee, Grant and Buddy, Sarah, Jack and Pete from Calgary… that was just the main attendees. Everyone had acquaintances and friends of friends come. I was hugging people all night saying either “it’s so good to see you” or “it’s so nice to meet you finally!” A bunch of social media friends were there. I’d met them on Instagram, and we’d become friends that way, and Monday was the first time I’d ever seen them in person.

Grant and Holly stayed away from each other for the duration, which is probably just as well. I started at Jack and Pete’s Airbnb at about 2:30pm, where we sat and shot the shit for a few hours, then got an Uber to Grant and Buddy’s. We met up with Sarah and their friend Courtney, and Jacqui and Trish (social media buds), pre-gamed a bit more, then walked over to the Commodore Ballroom. Grant’s back is still fucked up from his work injury like two months ago, so the going was slow, which was great for me. As we’ve established, I’m not in the best shape. Walking nice and slow is my jam.
