From zip lines to cable cars to bungee jumping to nerve-wracking suspension bridges, you’ll discover a plethora of activities that’ll have adrenaline coursing through your veins, and have you re-evaluating your life choices. The Hussaini Suspension Bridge is a thin strip of wooden planks — spaced wide apart — strung together by metal ropes, connecting two faces of the Karakoram Range. This makeshift bridge sways ominously above the raging waters of the River Hunza, which, in the summers, becomes doubly dangerous as the glaciers melt and the water levels rise. To get to the Hussaini bridge, you need to pass through the Karakoram Highway, a dangerous mountain pass that is prone to frequent landslides and rockfalls.
