<p>At the end of October, after more than a year of <a href="https://www.hcd.ca.gov/about-hcd/newsroom/state-announces-new-review-san-francisco-housing-policies-and-practices" rel="noopener ugc nofollow" target="_blank">investigation</a>, the California Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD) issued its <a href="https://www.hcd.ca.gov/about-hcd/newsroom/state-releases-accountability-report-on-san-franciscos-housing-policies-and-practices" rel="noopener ugc nofollow" target="_blank">long-awaited audit of SF’s housing permitting and development process</a>.
