Value Confusion
<p>I love being rational. However, when SF becomes so rational that it attempts to quantify love, I start to feel uncomfortable. <p>I enjoy building in AI. However, when everyone talks about launching the product even during intimate gatherings with friends, I feel discomfort.</p>
<p>I feel proud to work in big tech. But when people tell me capitalism is the best system while so many people are dying on the streets, I question if I would be proud of being a capitalist.</p>
<p>I love thinking about optimization. However, when people try to optimize so much that we don’t have time to support each other, I question whether I still want to chop my timetable all the time.</p>
