From Friend to Detective: How Carl King’s Tenacity Led to the Exoneration of Colin Warner

On April 11, 1980, Colin Warner was arrested in Brooklyn for murder. All the evidence was stacked up against him, including two eyewitnesses who said they saw Warner at the scene. Warner, however, swore that he was innocent. No jurors believed him. He was convicted two years later.
