Sketches of El Centro Histórico in Mexico City

<p>Hordes of people flock to El Centro Hist&oacute;rico on any given day, but it is especially busy on Saturday. By 1 or 2 in the afternoon, the wide sidewalks bustle with families, mothers and daughters with arms locked as they browse shoes and dresses, young couples happily licking ice creams, tourists snapping photos, kids being pushed in strollers, a man with a wheel barrel selling&nbsp;<em>chicharron</em>&nbsp;and bottled waters on the corner, people hauling bags from Liverpool, Nike, the hardware store, adolescents and young men pushing dollies stacked with boxes, pedicabs zipping up the bike lane through the intersection &mdash; red light be damned.</p> <p><a href="https://medium.com/@natek205/sketches-of-el-centro-hist%C3%B3rico-in-mexico-city-9634003615e2"><strong>Website</strong></a></p>
