Fresh Off the Boat’s Battle with Stereotypes and Sitcoms

<p>Back in early 2015, ABC released its new family sitcom,&nbsp;<em>Fresh Off the Boat</em>, which was inspired by the memoir with the same name written by Eddie Huang. The first season of the show focused on Eddie, the eldest of three boys, and his struggle to integrate into his new school as well as the daily struggles of the rest of the family.
