So I have no interest in horse race politics, I long ago realized that like Hunter S Thompson wrote rhetorically in the “The Kentucky Derby Is Decadent and Depraved” (1970) in Scanlan’s Monthly speaking to Jimbo from Houston: “There’s going to be trouble,” I said. “My assignment is to take pictures of the riot.” Thankfully there’s no riot in Council District 6 (CD-6) happening, just the usual machine politics.
