So, today, I’m talking about Sony again, and how its ignorance is once again costing its loyal PS5 owners. I’m talking about Twisted Metal.
The series initially got its start back on the PlayStation and became a sure-fire hit, with multiple sequels following as a result. The series reached new heights on the PlayStation 2 with the awesome Twisted Metal Black, a dark and twisted chapter that delivered some of the best vehicular action in the series.
But then, aside from a spirited PS3 sequel (simply named Twisted Metal), the series kind of went dormant. At least, for a while.
Last week, Peacock TV (NBC owned) announced a new Twisted Metal series debuting on July 27th, with Anthony Mackie behind the wheel and the cast also featuring the lovely Stephanie Beatriz, and a devastating combo of Samoa Joe and Will Arnett as Sweet Tooth. (Who, by the way, looks pretty good despite the lack of flaming hair.)
