I recently wrote a short anecdote on my main website about how I stupidly hiked ill-prepared.
The message was simple: I wanted people to understand the importance of common-sense and being practical.
However, I’m not sure I conveyed just how utterly stupid I was during this hike.
So… with much hesitation, I’ll share the full story here.
The story begins on the 19th July 2022, where work was cancelled for the day as temperatures were set to soar.
I love the heat, so… desperate to avoid the boredom of sitting at home all day, I decided to go for a “quick” hike.
