<p>Meteora is world famous for hosting <em>one of the largest and most precipitously built complexes of Eastern Orthodox monasteries in the world</em>.</p>
<p>This landscape here is also both fascinating and unique. <p>Today, there are six working monasteries there, all of which you can visit. But not all monasteries are open on all days. So depending on which day you are visiting, you will miss one monastery.
