I first drew this in September 2022 and redrew it in March 2023 to improve.
My (unfinished) piece from September last year:
I know it’s not very good. I made it during 30 minute intervals within seven days, I think. It was a part of a series of four drawings I made based on the prompts from the renowned Mimimoo Illustration account on Instagram. I am a big fan of her YT channel too, and had joined the Christmas challenge she had in 2021. In September 2022, she held a challenge with other artists: Sweetember Days.
This prompt was “autumn walk”. I remember the idea-forming quite well as I had taken a while to choose the characters before deciding on these five — who are from an anime I really like. I had to rush to complete it though, as I had chosen to draw five whole characters and a background — too much to complete under such a tight deadline with such few minutes of work put in per day.
