I love Affinity software. As someone with a hobbyist passion for graphic design, I have found Affinity Designer especially to be an amazing tool. This powerful and ridiculously affordable software has not only empowered me to grow as a designer, but also liberated me from the shackles of subscription plans with the pressure of recurring fees.
However, Serif, the team behind the Affinity creative suite, is a small team and understandably is limited in which fringe features it chooses to add to its software. In my case there was one feature I really found myself wishing for: the ability to use Arabic language font without it looking like this:
