How my Asian upbringing affected me as a UX designer

<p>As a child of Chinese-Burmese immigrants, I&rsquo;m grateful that my hard working parents gave me an opportunity to achieve the&nbsp;<strong>American Dream</strong>. They saved up all they could to send me to summer school programs, SAT prep classes, and supported me throughout college. My parents wanted me to succeed and expressed their disappointment when I didn&rsquo;t always get that &ldquo;A+&rdquo;, but thankfully they respected my decisions when it came down to my professional life&hellip;</p> <p>Well, they didn&rsquo;t really understand what I did at my first full-time job as a business consultant (who does, anyway?).
