When I was admitted to my University, my Professor asked me to say something about myself. I couldn’t answer her properly. Because I was not good at English. And I had been a Bangla Medium Student throughout my study life. Suddenly I’m being shifted to an English Medium Student without knowing proper English.
I felt so insecure in the class. Because most of my classmates were from English medium backgrounds. That’s why I didn’t talk so much in the classroom.
One day I was scolded by my Professor in a public speaking class which was our mandatory course. After that, I promised myself to develop myself. I knew what I had to do. But execution was so hard. But I promised myself that whatever was going into my life. I have to secure my position.
My first step was to learn basic English grammar from scratch. It took 3 to 4 months to cover only basic grammar.
