Abraham, or “Abe” as he was fondly called, grew up in a log cabin, facing hardships and poverty from an early age. Despite his humble beginnings, he possessed an insatiable thirst for knowledge, often reading by the dim light of the fireplace, devouring whatever books he could get his hands on.
