Job Hunting at 63

I have a wide spectrum of experience — experience, I think, that would make me an asset in any professional environment. I’ve worked for respected organizations, both at the state and national levels.

References from former employers would be my most valuable asset if any of them were still alive.

In the interests of full disclosure, let me say that at the age of 62, I was hired by a well-respected trade organization. It wasn’t really what I was looking for, but it was a paycheck, and I really, really needed a paycheck.

My bosses were wonderful, but after a few months, I found that their code of ethics and mine came from different books, and I really couldn’t stay.
