• Congrats to The Albany Herald for a watchdog result covering massive financial woes in Edison, Ga. The Herald hired Lucille Lannigan in July through the Report for America program. Nearly $500,000 in fiscal shortages was soon shown. By mid August, the Mayor resigned, the City Manager resigned, the Police Chief departed. Hard days for citizens there.
