On Monday night this week we headed to the Beacon Theatre for an evening of laughs with Trevor Noah. The outing was chosen by Sarah to celebrate her husband’s (i.e. our son-in-law) Lahiru’s birthday. Great birthday present, for all of us!
We picked up the M72 bus to head crosstown, getting off at Amsterdam, a quick ride which left us with a 2 minute walk to the Beacon, on the Upper West Side. As we were walking, Steve said “we should explore this area more” — funny, he says that every time we end up on the Upper West Side, not sure why!
