<p>Organizations such as the <a href="https://cites.org/eng/prog/imp/enf/introduction_draft" rel="noopener ugc nofollow" target="_blank">Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora</a> (CITES), the <a href="https://www.worldwildlife.org/threats/illegal-wildlife-trade" rel="noopener ugc nofollow" target="_blank">World Wide Fund for Nature</a> (WWF), <a href="https://www.traffic.org/what-we-do/the-trade-in-wild-species/" rel="noopener ugc nofollow" target="_blank">Traffic</a>, the <a href="https://www.unodc.org/unodc/en/ccp/activities/wildlife.html?testme=" rel="noopener ugc nofollow" target="_blank">United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime</a> (UNODC), and many more are working towards building regulations and spreading awareness about the cruelty and consequences of wildlife crime.</p>
<p>The achievements that these organizations were able to achieve fall under the seizure of 6,000 species in illegal wildlife trade, the conservation of 22,137 rhinoceroses at the end of 2021, the <a href="https://www.worldwildlife.org/species/rhino#:~:text=Rhinos%20once%20roamed%20many%20places,rhinos%20remain%20in%20the%20wild." rel="noopener ugc nofollow" target="_blank">implementation of innovative technology</a> and so much more.</p>
